Dr Nelson Ying Science Competition - 1999
1999 was the inaugral year for the Dr. Nelson Ying Science Competition. The Competition was held at the Orlando Science Center April 23, 24, and 25, 1999. The winner of the top prize of a $5000 cash scholarship was Elizabeth White from Spruce Creek High School. The keynote speaker for the award presentation was the Honorable Glenda Hood, Mayor of the City of Orlando.
